According to the different control patterns of the wire movement trajectory, the WEDM machine can be divided into three types:
One is the imitating control, which pre-manufactures the same mold with the shape of the workpiece before the wire cutting process. During the machining, the workpiece blank and the mold are simultaneously clamped on the workbench of the machine tool. During the cutting process, the wire electrode is Tightly close to the edge of the mold to make a trajectory movement to cut the workpiece with the same shape and accuracy as the * mold;
The other is the photoelectric tracking control. Before the line cutting process, a photoelectric trace diagram is drawn according to the part drawing according to a certain enlargement ratio. When processing, the pattern is placed on the photoelectric tracking table of the machine tool, and the photoelectricity on the tracking table is monitored. The head always follows the trajectory motion of the ink line pattern, and then the electrical and mechanical linkages are used to control the machine tool table to perform similar movements with the workpiece electrode wire, thereby cutting out the workpiece with the same shape as the pattern.
The other is digital program control. Advanced digital automatic control technology is used to drive the machine tool to automatically finish the machining according to the pre-programmed CNC machining program according to the number of workpiece geometry before machining. There is no need to create a model plate or draw a magnified image. The former two control forms have higher processing precision and wider application range. At present, more than 95% of WEDM machines at home and abroad have adopted numerical control. |
